昨日は定期検診でした。退院してから三年間は三か月に一度のペースでしたが、四年目あたりから四か月に一度でよくなりました。
一回の健診で、一万円くらいかかるので、ありがたいことです。（診察と血液検査です。）
私の場合、退院後２年間は強い薬を定期的に飲む。その後も定期検診を続ける。退院後５年再発がなかったらほぼ完治。といった感じです。この病気は完治という言葉は使わないみたいで、寛解という言葉を使うみたいです。（完治までいかないようで、再発を思い浮かべます。）
毎回ドキドキしますが、体のため、自分のため、頑張って行っています。主治医が本当に紳士な方で、心から信頼を寄せています。そしていつも「良かったです。」と言ってくださいます。
何が良かったかは、毎回いろいろあって、再発の数値がないことや、食べれる事、顔色がいい事、なんでも肯定してくれます。入院中もこの「良かったです。」の言葉に励まされ救われました。親身になってくれていると実感です。先生のお人柄です。人徳ですね。私もこうなりたいです。
残念ながら、４年９か月で、今回は初めて異常がありました…。
再発ではなかったので、一安心ですが…。
～完治という言葉に 憧れます～

Yesterday I had my regular ckecup. For released from the hospital , I had to go every three months , but since the fourth year , it’s been reduced to once every four months.
A single health check-up costs about 10,000 yen , so I’m grateful this (consists of a medical examination and blood test).
in my case , Itake storong medicine reguarly for two years after being discharged from the hospital. I continue to have regular checkups after that. If there is no recurrence for five years after being discharged from the hospital , I am almost completely cured. That’s about it.
It seems that the word “cure” is not used for this disease , but rather “remission.”
Iget nervous every time , but I go to the clinic for the sake of my body and myself. My doctor is a true gentleman , and I trust him wholeheartedly. He always says , “It was a good experience.”
There are always good things happening , such as no signs of recurrense , being able to eat , and having a good complexion , and the doctor is always positivive zbout everything.
Even while I was in the hospital , the words “It’s good” encouraged and saved me. Ireally felt that he was caring. It’s the doctor’s personality.His virtue. I want to be like him.
Unfortunately , this was the first time something had gone wrong in 4 yeara and 9 months …
I’m relieved that it wasn’t a recurrense …
